Bio322: Biophysics Labs

1. Nucleic acids: Purify genomic DNA from E. coli and S. aureus study the melting dynamics of it. Change salt concentration to see their effects. Discuss. Protocol link Handout Link Date: 17-Oct/18-Oct, 1500h in 3rd floor research lab. 4 teams each day. Collective data gathering, individual reports. Data from other groups will be posted. Use it to discuss your results. Date for submission of report: 5-Nov-2012.
   Instructions for submission:
   • I expect a lab-report from EACH student.
   • The reports of multiple students may be similar/the same if they belong to the same group.
   • Please mention clearly the group number and date when the experiment was performed.
   • Copy-paste the protocol on the course website for aim, materials and methods.
   • Insert the graphs of your data and interpret them in the results section.
   • Name your files as "Lab01_Lastname_Firstname.pdf" where Lastname_Firstname are YOUR name/s.
