H4K8bio
H4K8 is a preferred site for biotinylation (PMID: 15153116). Biotinylated histone H4 is enriched in pericentromeric heterochromatin and it participates in gene silencing, mitotic condensation of chromatin, and the cellular response to DNA damage(PMID: 16772434).
