Histone H1x

H1x exhibits a replication independent expression. Expression levels remain unaltered throughout cell cycle. Gene is present on chromosome number 3 and mRNA is polyadenylated (PMID: 19587527). Highly expressed in neuroendocrine tumors (PMID: 19108733). Recent report classifies it as a strong condensor of chromatin (PMID: 19794910).
