Abstract: I will review and extend the Papadodimas-Raju construction of state-dependent CFT operators that describe local physics in the space-like region. Further I will probe the geometry of the typical micro-state using a special double-trace perturbation of the CFT Hamiltonian. This can be interpreted as a one-sided analogue of Gao-Jafferis-Wall double-trace deformation discussed in the context of the eternal black hole. I will argue that, after the double-trace perturbation, trans-Planckian gravitational interactions in AdS allow one to extract quantum information from the black hole, a la Hayden and Preskill.
