Hot spots conjecture for Euclidean domains

In the first part of this talk I shall recall what the Hot spots
conjecture is. Putting it in mathematical terms, I shall provide a brief
history of the conjecture. If time permits I shall explain a proof of the
conjecture for Euclidean triangles.
