Abstract:
The Hadean eon is the earliest epoch of the Earth, and which ended roughly 3.8 billion years ago. In this presentation I will summarise the work that my collaborators and I have done over the past five years to shed light on this early enigmatic era of the Earth, covering Earth's formation, late accretion and culminating in the timing of the origins of life.
