James Dacey has been working as a journalist for Physics World, the magazine of the UK Institute of Physics, since January 2009. The magazine is planning to produce a range of content focussed on "physics in India"
Abstract: James Dacey will talk about the role of science journalists: who we are, what we do, and how we do it. He will look at some of the issues facing the present day science journalist, including the opportunities and the challenges that are opening up for journalists thanks to new media formats including blogs, online video and social media.
