Abstract

Genomics and other -omics have been a key and active participant in ongoing Data Science revolution. In this talk I would describe data science and analysis techniques developed in my group at Agilent technologies for designing and analysis of molecular assays with applications in both Constitutional disorders and cancer genomes.

In particular I would focus on probabilistic graphical models and other Bayesian techniques, Machine learning models and Artificial Intelligence components of understanding the complex interplay between various genomic variants, immune system and  tumor micro-environments in complex cancer genomics. I would also touch on developing of scalable platforms that can leverage these ideas in different domains
