Science Media Centre at IISER Pune: The hypothesis, the experiment and the results so far

Before joining IISER Pune, Madhu worked as Programme Manager at the Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development, as Joint Director, Consortium for Educational Communication, as Producer, Turning Point, Times Television

There will be three parts in this colloquium:

In the first part of the session, K P Madhu, In charge of Science Media Centre, will explain why the centre was set up and what it can do for students, faculty and administration in IISER Pune. He will report on the activities so far and present the plans for the future workshops and productions. People interested in science, literature, painting, music, photography, dance, drama, sports and education are invited to participate.

In the second part, Madhu will also throw open some research questions in the area of communication, media and social development to challenge the students. People involved in science as well as social issues may find this part more interesting.
