The 60s were an exciting time for particle physicists, much as it is today. Much was understood, but much was unknown. Out of this era came a beautiful experiment that shattered our preconceptions of nature’s laws — the Cronin-Fitch experiment. It for the first time conclusively demonstrated that matter and anti-matter could behave differently in the universe. In this brief, informal talk I hope to review the importance of their experiment, what it showed and how it was theoretically understood in the end. But is it truly the end, or is past merely a prologue?
