On conformal supergravities in four space-time dimensions

Abstract: I will first introduce conformal gravity, indicate some conceptual details and explain how superconformal theories can be relevant for the construction of more general supergravity theories. In the second half of the talk I will review the conformal supergravities and comment on the recently constructed N=4 theory.
