three-dimensional (3D) organization scaling from nucleosomes, loops, topologically associating domains (TADs), compartments, to chromosome territories. 3D organization of genome has been linked with development, differentiation and disease. Although, we have attained decent understanding about different features of genome organization but the principles governing the 3D organization of genome within the nuclear space are just beginning tounravel. Chromatin associated proteins are key players in shaping the genome architecture. Using an interdisciplinary approach, we have shown that protein-protein interactions among chromatin bound proteins play important role in driving/stabilizing the 3D organization ofgenome at multiple genomic scales.
