The Centre of the Milky Way, the nearest galactic nucleus, is a complex environment. The central supermassive black hole, surrounded by a large reservoir of gas and a dense stellar cluster, serves as a perfect laboratory to study many physical phenomena in great detail. In this talk, I will give a brief overview of the current results from the recent observation campaigns and the prospects for the future observations.
