In this talk we shall discuss the celebrated Epimorphism Theorem, known partial results and openquestions on the epimorphism problem for higher dimensions and the generalised epimorphism problems
over nice integral domains. If time permits we shall also illustrate the close connections between the epimorphism
(or embedding) problems and some questions on Affine Fibrations, the Cancellation Problem and the Linearisation
Problem.
