Abstract :
"I will present searches for physics beyond the standard model at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) using highly Lorentz-boosted Higgs bosons and top quarks as tools.
I will review the methods used to identify the distinctive signatures of these boosted topologies at the CMS experiment, focusing on my work on boosted Higgs boson identification. My work on the CMS pixel subdetector, which is crucial for tagging Higgs boson decay products, will be discussed. I will conclude with remarks on how new measurements are being made possible, and the prospects for new physics searches at the high luminosity LHC, using boosted Higgs bosons. CERN and the CMS collaboration are international conglomerates, and time permitting, I will highlight the experience of working with physicists and students across the globe on the above topics
