IISER Pune will be organizing:
Indian Strings Meeting (ISM)
ISM is a series of conferences organised by the String Theory community in India every alternate year. Besides the invited speakers from abroad and India, all active string theorists from India (including postdocs and students) are invited to participate in this meeting. Previous meetings in this series were held in Puri (2014, 2012, 2011, 2006), Pondicherry (2008), Khajuraho (2004), and HRI, Allahabad (2002).
In this meeting, we plan to have discussions on diverse topics such as:
- Black Holes
- Conformal Bootstrap
- Fluid Dynamics
- Holography
- String Perturbation Theory
