Pedagogy Workshop and Discussion Meeting for College Teachers
on
Teaching Life Sciences: from Basic Biology to Biotechnology
Teaching of biology at under-graduate and post-graduate level has undergone a vast change in the past decade. From courses rooted in classical life science, the focus has shifted to curricula that incorporate the current research in a variety of areas of pure and applied biology. This workshop is aimed at college teachers teaching life sciences and will bring into discussion some of the emerging topics in biotechnology with a special focus on disease / biomedicine.

The workshop will have 25 participants. Selection will be made on first come, first serve basis.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided. There is no registration fee.
