Venue: Lecture Hall Complex and Maths Floor (3rd floor), Main Building of IISER Pune
About:
Offering a blockbuster prelude to the event, a Symposium has been organised as part of Maths Day and Women's Day Celebrations on the evening of 7th of March, in which a few women speakers representing various disciplines of Science will be speaking about applications of Mathematics in their area of expertise. It's the "An App called Math - Women Ed.".

In the action packed week leading up to the Math Day, we will enjoy, among other things, a Math Trivia quiz on March 8. And then, a plethora of exciting events await at the helm of celebrating mathematics on March 10. The inauguration will take place at 8:30 am on the mathematics floor (Math Lounge), accompanied by release of new additions to the mathematics family at IISER Pune. This will be followed by tea/coffee and filled tori. Other amazing activities organised at LHC on the same day include:

- Math Clubhouse: May the 4's be with you, Sine rider, Sprouts, Math Pictionary, Zome tools, Rubikmania, Code breaking, Hopscotch, etc.
- The Erdós Quiz (NLH)
- Integration Bee
- A Colloquium by Prof C S Aravinda, TIFR CAM, Bengaluru.
There will also be a movie screening, and every IISERite's beloved, Treasure Hunt the same night. Math Club and Drama club will present a Math Day Play on 3.14 (Wednesday).
Math Day, like mathematics, is open to everyone, so feel free to invite your friends and family to share the experience!
