To celebrate National Science Day on February 28, 2018, IISER Pune (Quiz & Science Club) has organzed the following events:
1. The 4th Linus Pauling Interschool Science Quiz Competition
2. Public Lectures
The 4th Linus Pauling Interschool Science Quiz Competition
This will be a two-round event: a written elimination round followed by an on-stage final round for the top five teams. The quiz will have trivia-style questions from major disciplines of science, that will test conceptual understanding and lead participants and witnesses to go back to the basics.
Date: Wednesday, February 28, 2017
Time: 11:15 am onward. Teams are requested to be present at the venue by 9:30 am.
Venue: Sir CV Raman Auditorium, Lecture Hall Complex (LHC), IISER Pune
Eligibility: Students of class VIII-XII can participate in teams of two. Solo entries will not be allowed. There is no restriction on the number of teams per school. Participating teams are required to get a school id or bona-fide letter.

4:20 - 5:20 pm: Constructing theories of the structure of languages, species, and cultures by Dr. KP Mohanan
