About the Series: IISER Pune's Science Activity Centre has been actively involved in conducting workshops for school teachers to help them incorporate activity-based teaching and learning for science and mathematics. In the current situation, we have continued our work with teachers by developing digital content and conducting online sessions. Our weekly Sunday morning sessions on YouTube Live have received an overwhelming response, with ~10 lakh viewers reached so far. In response to the great demand for content in regional language, we are now collaborating with Maharashtra State Council of Education Research and Training (MSCRET) Pune to conduct online workshops for teachers in Maharashtra. These workshops will be conducted in Marathi and will focus on hands-on activities which can be performed with readily available material. The workshops will allow teachers to explore scientific concepts from their curriculum in an exciting manner and pass on this enthusiasm to students.
The series, which will be in Marathi, will have fifteen episodes on various science and mathematics concepts for teachers, students and parents across Maharashtra
