IISER Pune, DBT (Govt. of India) and the British Council have jointly organized a:

Pedagogy Workshop for Undergraduate Teachers of Science and Mathematics

A team from University of Sheffield along with experts from India will conduct this workshop. The focus will be to discuss and develop new pedagogical techniques that can be used for teaching science and mathematics at the undergraduate level. There will be some discipline-wise sessions covering teaching methods specific to respective areas.

Participants will present pedagogical tools, which they or their colleagues have developed and used in their classrooms. Their ideas will be discussed with suggestions for further improvement. The objective is to identify scale-able tools that can be deployed for teachers all over the country.
