Pedagogy Workshops for School Mathematics Teachers
Resource Person: Dr. Jonaki Ghosh, senior mathematics educator from Delhi, will conduct the workshops

About: Developing mathematical thinking through problem solving and technology has become an important aspect of mathematics education today. Toward this, CoESME, IISER Pune has organised two workshops, each of two days, for school mathematics teachers.
Workshop I
(For Middle School Teachers)
Dates: August 7-8, 2018
Topics: Problem solving, algebraic thinking, fractal geometry, visual thinking, tiling symmetry, dynamic geometry software
Workshop II:
(For Secondary & Senior Secondary School Teachers)
Dates: August 9-10, 2018
Topics: Geometrical inquiry through DGS, playing games, calculus, proof without words, modelling and applications, analysing the mathematics classroom
Special Session: There will be a half-day discussion session for heads / Coordinators / Principals of schools on August 11, 2018.
