The Women Cell, IISER Pune has organized a women safety programme - "Woman Safe Sthree Shakti"  on the occasion of International Women's Day (March 8).

Objective of the programme:

Crime happens almost every day, anywhere and can happen to anyone. Single woman is especially prone to crime as some may see women as defenseless without a partner or surrounding family. Knowing how to keep yourself protected is the first step in maintaining safety. Whether in public, at home or out on a date, safety measures are important in keeping you and your belongings safe are the main objectives of the programme.
