Startup Weekend

This activity is globally sponsored by Google for entrepreneurs and techstars. Startup Weekend is a global grassroots movement of active and empowered entrepreneurs who are learning the basics of founding startups and launching successful ventures. It has held 2000+ events in 135+ countries around the world.

Participants at this event can pitch their idea in a minute and form a team to work on a market ready prototype. They will also get an opportunity to meet mentors, who will guide them on their business plan and model. The event will include a Startup showcase, where startups who aspire to acquire customers and sell their product can set up a stall.
