Third State Level School Science and Mathematics Teachers' Congress

Venue: IISER, Pune
The main theme of the Congress, which is meant for teachers teaching science and maths for classes 6-12, is EVALUATION, with seven sub themes.
The Congress will be a culmination of a call for papers where teachers were asked to write a Research Paper on one of the sub-themes. Selected research papers will be presented in the Congress in a 8-minute presentation. Parallel presentations on various subthemes will take place in the course of the day. The research papers and presentation will be evaluated by experts from Marathi Vidyan Parishad and top performers of each sub-theme will be awarded Merit Certificates.
A practical session by Ashok Rupner and Chaitanya Mungi of IISER Pune on 'Fun with hands-on Science experiments using waste/low-cost material' and a lecture by scientist from ISRO have also been organized.
