The Royal Society of Chemistry, in association with COESME at IISER Pune IISER Pune will be organizing
The Salters' Chemistry Camp, UK
Dates: December 14-16, 2016
Venue: IISER Pune
The Salters’ Chemistry Camps India have been funded by a generous donation from Dr Yusuf Hamied, leading Indian philanthropist and pioneer in the pharmaceutical industry. This activity is a part of the Inspirational Chemistry Programme in collaboration with the Royal Society of Chemistry.
This is free reseidential camp is for students of class IX. The Camp is only for selected Government-aided/less advantaged schools.
Some of the main features of the camp are:
- Hands-on practical Chemistry in IISER labs
- Interaction with teachers
- Exciting chemistry demonstrations
- Staying at IISER Pune for the entire duration of the camp
- The chance to meet like-minded students
- Interaction in local languages, in addition to English
