Venue: Science Media Centre, Guest house complex, IISER Pune

Abstract: The workshop on Science Film Production will be conducted by a well-known filmmaker Hari M Mohanan. He made a Malayalam documentary 'Invisible wings' in 2015, which won the Best Short Film award in the Non-Fiction category at the 2018 Filmfare awards..

Key highlights of the workshop:
1. Dimension of a story
2. Exploring story dimension with real character
3. Creating narrative style 
4. Stages in film production
5. Hands- on session on film making

Eligibility: Undergraduates and graduates who are passionately interested in Film production and are looking forward to build their career in it.

Selection process: Applying does not automatically guarantee that a candidate will be selected for the workshop. In addition to the basic eligibility above, we may use other criteria based on the received applications to shortlist candidates depending on the number and quality of applications received.

Support: Selected participants will be provided double sharing accommodation and food for the entire duration of the course. Travelling allowance is not included. Participants are expected to stay for the full duration of the programme. It is mandatory for all the participants to attend all sessions.
