Workshop on Science News Writing
Dates: November 17-21, 2020
Overview: The objective of this workshop is to train those who are interested in Science News writing. It is the most important category of science journalism which allows the non-scientific community to connect to science & research happening around the globe. It also helps in increasing awareness and educating the public. The workshop will have lectures, discussions, demonstrations, hands-on practice, feedback, mentoring, and highly interactive sessions.
The participants will learn to plan, schedule, do research, write, edit, rewrite, and layout ‘Science News’. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a clear idea of writing science news pieces.
