Workshop on Scientific Video Production

Venue: Science Media Centre, Guest house complex, IISER Pune
Abstract: Designing creative scientific videos boosts science education and outreach and it also opens door for a creative-visual career path. This week-long workshop will be organized under the guidance of well known film maker, teacher, writer and media planner Anil Zankar who is an adjunct faculty at Film-FLAME university Pune and visiting faculty at IISER Pune. This workshop will provide basic to advance training in video production including hands-on training.
Eligibility: Undergraduates and graduates who are passionately interested in video production.
Selection process: Applying does not automatically guarantee that a candidate will be selected for the workshop. In addition to the basic eligibility above, we may use other criteria based on the received applications to shortlist candidates depending on the number and quality of applications received.
Support: Selected participants will be provided double sharing accommodation and food, for the entire duration of the course. Travelling allowance is not included. Participants are expected to stay for the full duration of the programme. It is mandatory for all the participants to attend all sessions.
