The 21st century has been marked by rapid progress in virtually every field of Science and Technology. As a result, practitioners in both industry and academia are often left to tackle modern problems with out-dated concepts and skill-sets. This not only hampers the career progress of individuals and profitability of organisations but is also an issue for the continued development of the scientific capacity of society.
To address this issue, IISER Pune has launched: IISER Pune Short Term Courses
This programme shall consist of short but intensive courses with the following objectives:
1. To widen knowledge and enhance the skills of both academics and industry professionals in focussed areas
2. To provide an opportunity for both academics and industry professionals to interact with each other and foster possible collaborations
3. To enhance the skills of teachers/instructors at various academic as well as industrial training institutes
Under this programme, the Fourth "Biostatistics: a user's perspective" (see flyer) course will be offered in two batches (Batch I: December 20-22, 2019 and Batch II: December 27-29, 2019). The course details can be found here.
