Mimamsa 2016

Mimamsa is a national-level annual science quiz for undergraduates organized by students of IISER Pune. It is a two-stage event. The first round or the Prelim is a written exam with sections from the four major disciplines of Science and takes place in January at several centres across India. The top four teams selected through the Prelims qualify for the Mains which comprises brain-racking quizzing sessions spread over a pleasant February weekend. The questions are designed to encourage debate and discussion among teams and the judges. Mimamsa aims to test concepts rather than simply facts, leading participants and witnesses alike to go back to the basics and unravel the science behind the science we study.

Registration of Teams: November 15 - December 25, 2015
Prelims: January 10, 2016
Mains: February 13 - 14, 2016
