Pinaki Talukdar Wins National Bioscience Award Feb 28, 2018
Dr Pinaki Talukdar, Associate Professor in Chemistry at IISER Pune, has won the ‘National Bioscience Award’ given by Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India.
The award consists of a cash prize, citation and a research contingency grant for a period of three years. It is given by the DBT in recognition of outstanding contributions by young scientists working in biology.
Dr Talukdar and his group at the bio-functional molecular design laboratory in IISER Pune work at the intersection of organic synthesis, supramolecular chemistry and biology. The National Bioscience Award commends his work in the field. You can learn more about Dr Talukdar's work here
