IISER Pune announces:
Recruitment for Senior Faculty Positions in Earth and Climate Science Department
The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune is a premier Autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for the promotion of high quality science education and research in the country.
The institute invites online applications from Indian nationals against the institute's ongoing rolling advertisement especially at senior levels, i.e. for the positions of “Professor” and “Associate Professor” in the Department of Earth and Climate Science (ECS).
The applicants are expected to be experts in their fields with wide-ranging interests in other ECS and allied disciplines. The candidate must have an outstanding publication record, extensive teaching experience, and ideally should be able to procure, or already possess external research funding. The candidate must also be able to envisage themselves as an integral part of programme development. The applicants should include a statement of their vision for the growth of the programme and how they view themselves as part of this process.
The screening of applications will be initiated from 15th September 2020. Applications submitted after this date shall be considered in the next cycle of screening, i.e., tentatively 4-6 months from this date.
