Later, IISER students presented a cultural programme showcasing the in-house talent. The event began with a flute recital of patriotic songs followed by a rendition of Vande Mataram on the violin. Both traditional as well as modern elements representing various traditions and styles in Indian music were presented. The performances included an ensemble that presented a fusion of Hindustani and Carnatic music, along with solo recitals of mouth organ, guitar, vocals, sitar and a Bharathnatyam dance piece.
