Student selected to participate at Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting  Mar 25, 2017

Abhishek Swarnkar, Integrated PhD student at IISER Pune has been selected to participate in the 67th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting taking place from June 25 to 30, 2017 in Lindau, Germany. He is one of the 400 young scientists from around the globe who have been offered this opportunity to experience the scientific ambiance of the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings. About 30 of these invitees will also get an opportunity to present their research through a poster at the meeting.

From India, Abhishek will be part of a group of a total of 23 students and young researchers selected by the Govt. of India’s Department of Science and Technology to attend this meeting where Nobel Prize winners in Chemistry, Physics, Physiology or Medicine discuss relevant topics in their corresponding areas with students from around the world. This year’s meeting is dedicated to the field of chemistry.
