Tyrosine-protein kinase BAZ1B
WSTF belongs to WAL protein family. It is part of an ATP-dependent chromatin remodelling machinery and is unique because it bears no homology to any other tyrosine kinase fold. WSTF phosphorylates H2A.X at tyrosine 142 during DNA damage responses (PMID: 19092802).
